An Ocean of Our Own
A weeklong, interdisciplinary micro-residency by the sea
Falmouth, Massachusetts
September 26th–October 3rd, 2026

As an artist-run program in its second year, An Ocean Of Our Own brings together no more than five artists to immerse themselves in Cape Cod's shoreside ecosystems.
This program is a deeply personal creative project as much as it is a carefully curated experience, inviting artists to create and develop their work in dialogue with the shore, the marsh, the water, and local communities.
We will gather by the ocean I grew up with, staying a ten minute bike ride from a quiet, locals-only beach.
Through a series of excursions, we'll explore the textures of place through the layered histories of the cape, from shipwrecked shores to salt marshes, making space for creation rituals that return us to our bodies and our own unique experience of the here, and now.
This is a slow immersion with space for both sacred solitude, and co-creation in the company of others.
